Hi, My brothers mower keeps throwing the bottom chain on this mower, the top and bottom chains are loose. I cannot see for sure that there is anything missing, tensioner etc, or is the tension applied from adjusting the cutting cylinder. Any advice appreciated, thanks in Advance.. I will try and attach pictures. Thanks

Mick

Hi RCD_70, and welcome to TGMF.

It's been a while since I touched one of these machines, but from memory I think the two intermediate sprockets the ones between each pair of chains are mounted on slots in the main chassis. also those two shafts have a eccentric offset which when turned will help adjust each chain. It's a bit of a balancing act but you should be able to take out some of the slack there.

Obviously if the chains are really worn this won't be possible, but worth a try.
