Torque values on the head bolts of a Hyundai mower

I am replacing the head gasket on a Hyundai HYM430SPE and I contacted their technical support at Powerspares.co.uk for the torque values of the head bolts and they came back with 50 to 60 NM which I thought could not be correct so I asked them to double check so they contacted Hyundai directly. They emailed me back a eek later and said it was 45 to 50 NM, which I still think is very very high, what are peoples thoughts?
I also asked for the valve clearances which they said were inlet valve 0.10mm and exhaust 0.15mm.

Thank you.

Hi oovarvoo, and welcome to TGMF.

What size are the bolts?  I'm not sure of the exact settings for that engine, but I would suspect the torque setting to be under half of what they quoted those figures are very high.

Valves, I would say 4-6 thou for the inlet and 6-8 thou for the exhaust should be fine.

Hopefully someone will come up with a definitive answer for you.
