Stihl Blowers eating diaphragms

Seems the Stihl BG 86C-E blowers and SH 86C-E vacuum shredders like eating pump diaphragms, had five of them over the last few days, with exactly the same problem.  Think they need to rethink the material these are made of.

This problem is guaranteed to wreck the crappy recoil starter on thee machines. Trust me.

Did you get poor starting and if it did start a lack of throttle up?
