Countax C300H oil with leak

Evening all,

I've got green fingers and am fairly handy around garden machinery and run an orchard and smallholding.

I picked up a Countax C300H at the weekend that's leaking oil fairly freely from beneath the engine onto the belt pulleys so am looking for any parts diagrams and workshop information on changing that seal.

Hi Andy, and welcome to TGMForum.

Are you sure the leak is coming from the seal and not somewhere else?  They have a habit of leaking around the oil drain, and that creeps under the engine etc.

I'm not familiar with the engine, Mick, but will have a look at it tomorrow with a degreaser, then diagnosing the source will be easier. Thanks
