Hi all, I have inherited a 18v solo battery mower, run for 30 seconds then stopped? Model MLM 2834 li
These are the things done so far :

Checked battery (Good)
Checked switch and cabling (good )
Used continuity meter to check again

Stripped out motor checked cabling

Set up motor switch and battery on bench and checked again ... no go either

I want to check motor direct but not sure what cabling to use ? Which one is neutral and which one is live ?
There is a sealed module unit, how does one test this ?

The dead man's bridge is fine also

Any suggestions the cables to the motor are yellow blue and green

Is there a tech repair  manual for these ?
The only thing I can come up with is the electronic sealed unit may be faulty ?  :hmm:

Hi Quovadisuk and welcome to TGMF.

I'm not familiar with this exact machine, but in theory yes it does sound like the motor controller has gone bad.  By your description It's a three phase brushless motor which requires a controller to function. Unfortunately it can't run without it.

I will see if I can find any info on the machine.
