i may of spoke to soon - First day back at work using a new 16" Izy and it played up  :-[ ... Occasionaly hot start problems i between jobs .... I am hoping this is going to settle down after a few days .... Not only that I put a stone thru my van window  :doh: :doh:

Bad luck with the stone through van window thing, that's something you can surely do without.  Hope your week improves. ;)

The IZY staring issue, if it persists and is still in warranty then nip it back to your Honda main dealer, they should have bulletins from Honda regarding these issues, so might get the carb upgrade with modified choke flap designed to cure the warm start.  ;)

While it's nice to see that Briggs & Stratton actually listened and got this sorted.  See attached images.

Just a shame there's so many out there with the problem.
