I have an old Hayter Harrier 48, type 220. I need to replace the Throttle Control and Cable (Part number 219101) As far as I can see, this is obsolete, and no longer available. Does any know if it can be swopped out for a replacement from a newer model please?

Hi, and welcome to TGMForum.

I'm thinking the only way you can go now is to find a universal throttle control cable.  They used to make some identical to the one in your image but I can no longer find them.  So your going to either see if your local mower repair shop has a equivalent universal cable, or find one on the web.

Bare in mind some only have minimal travel, so might not hit both choke and stop positions. And some are reversed, so choke and stop will be in the wrong places.

If I find one on the web I'll leave a link.  ;)
