In a moment of weakness I bought a Castellgarden mower model ca484tr 2007 (£10.00...hasn been used for a few years...not on the bench yet (waiting for a coil for the mountfield thanks mick)..any information..or advise...I like a challenge....

Assuming it's got ok roller bearings and the engine was good before it was stored away it should be recoverable. Obviously I have no if it had fuel left in it, and if it did I can almost guarantee it will need a carb clean and tank flush. Just make sure everything else is free and lubricated before you start trying to use it.

Also, what engine is fitted to this Castellgarden mower, I think they had various options.

Nice one noddy.   I should cut my grass but it's too damp and dreary out there for me. Can't wait for Spring to be honest.
