Prolong the life of Strimmer Line

I know some people by Nylon line for their Strimmer's in bulk, or use old stuff left over from a year or two back only to find it goes brittle and keeps snapping off in use.

A little trick which has been around for as long as I can remember. Soak your line in a bucket of water for a few hours before using it. That should help to stop it breaking off in use. 

Some people boil their strimmer line in a saucepan for a few minutes to speed up and achieve the same effect, but a few hours soaked at room temp should be good enough.
