Assuming this is a new type harrier pro 41, or 48

If you haven't done so already, I'd be tempted to contact Hayter and see if they can help with these issues now, especially as these machines have been out for a while.  As many people have made the same complaints about the new Harriers, I'm sure they'll have some answers.
