Intro

[Oldtimer]

Hi All.
Newbie here.
Just a domestic user in rural Lincs, with time on my hands to tinker with things for the garden.
Always interested in learning.
Also probably reluctant to trust stuff to dealers for maintenance and especially repairs.
In a former life was involved in 'continuous improvement' manufacturing processes.
So don't really find the modern machinery trends rewarding - where it's more cost effective to chuck something away and replace it with plastic than keep it alive.
Poor design and quality that's intended to fail so they can sell more stuff.
Anyway.
That's how I came across the Forum.
Good luck to All and keep spreading the knowledge.
Hopefully I'll be back from time to time.
