This customer was using two stroke fuel in their old Hayter Harrier 48, then decided to bring it in for a service when it wouldn't start.

My previous neighbour needed a chainsaw and a good friend of mine agreed to loan him one. A few days later, he called me over the fence and said it wouldn't start after he refuelled it. I questioned the mix ratio and he looked puzzled. It transpires he added ATF instead of two-stroke oil ??? His reference to the red colour put the tin lid on it!

Well you have to give credit to your neighbour for at least trying to mix something with the fuel, you'll be surprised just how many two stroke owners (Old and New) try running them on neat fuel.

Golden rule, never lend out a two stroke.  ;)
