Ariens Razor Belt

Had two of these Ariens Razor pedestrian mowers in over the last week, both with the drive belt fallen off the crankshaft pulley.  No other signs of damage.  I figure these were not set up properly from day one. (Cable adjustment) and the belts were running so loose when you released the drive lever they flipped off.

Will keep an eye out now the belts are refitted, and adjusted, and see if cures it.

As a side note:  I'm guessing the removable portion of the belt guard, the bit around the front pulley could be slightly closer to the pulley, or run slightly more parallel to the pulley to prevent this happening, as long as there's enough room for the belt to break away for clutching.  Belt on both machines ended up on top of the crankshaft pulley.
