Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a way to test the coil module on a Stihl FS94 C other than just seeing if it is making the plug spark. I think I have been supplied with a dodgy module.

Hi Kevin.  This is a horrible situation to be in, and it does happen.  ;)

What makes you think the the new module is faulty, is it doing something really strange?

Hi Mick,

When I fitted the new module the machine started and ran but it was not running right. It seemed like it was holding back. Then it stopped and I was unable to start it. I took the spark plug out and swapped it for a brand new one, disconnected the stop switch, put the plug to ground on the engine block and pulled the engine over several times and there was no spark.

I have returned the module and asked for a another one.
