Hi folks

The blade on my lawnmower has broke and needs replaced - see photos.

I have bought a replacement blade, but I need to know what is the correct process for turning a lawnmower upside down so that I can spend some time fitting it i.e. it has oil and petrol in it, so how do I prevent damage occurring when turning upside down to replace the blade?

Thanks in advance.

Mick

Hi, and welcome to TGMF.

Turning the machine on its side should be all that's required to change the blade. With the Honda I would suggest tipping it Oil filler down, and Air filter up.

I wouldn't recommend turning the mower upside down without draining the oil and petrol completely and removing the air filter.
