Hi,

From the photo below can anyone tell if this is repairable?
On closer inspection of where the break is, it appears that something might have come loose.

Hi rs6mra, and welcome to TGMF.

The section which has started to pop out of place normally clicks into the rear section with a little tab which has broken off.  That section is removable and held by two screws. You will also need to remove the blade and disc to remove that cover.

I suspect the rear section which that tab clicks into is also broken.  Yes it is repairable, it depends how much you can get the parts for.  Failing that, if you want to just keep it going you could screw or rivet a little plate to hold those plastics together as temp fix.

I have had a quick look at the parts list and do you reckon I'll need screws labelled number 3? From what you suggested it appears I might need something else but I'm none the wiser. Can you please suggest what else I might need in terms of the part number from the diagram?

The screws should be ok to reuse as long as they come out ok.  The underdeck cover is the part you need but the back of that clicks into one of the other parts which I think you'll find has broken away where it attaches.  You need to inspect it thoroughly before ordering.

These are the parts you might need,

Underdeck Cover part number:  410060
Throwplate      part number:  410059

And at worst, the Chute part number: 410058

Please bare in mind that to fit the Throwplate properly you'll have to remover the chute because the fit a metal retaining clip from the top to hold the throwplate to the chute.

I took the mower apart at the weekend and it appears that the underdeck cover, throwplate or chute are intact.
There is however another part that was broken. I am unable to attach the photo's as the file is too large. Below is a link of the part and also a short video of the machine to determine if indeed I am correct that the part aforementioned parts are not broken. 
I did struggle to get the wheels in place but I put that down to the broken part. Do you mind telling me what the name of the broken part is? Thanks.

Bracket - Roller Support LH Part number 410002

It's a pretty common failure  on these machines.  If I said I've changed a few of them it would be the understatement of the century. Think this was a months worth,

I fitted the roller support but had to undo the height adjuster spring.
As a result I have wasted the entire day trying to get the spring back on. Have you any tips for this because I have just given up.

I usually cheat and change the bracket with the spring in place. That only applies to the early ones with a one piece conrod without tensioner lever.  On the later ones I release and remove the spring using the tensioning lever, and take the back end out completely, as it only takes a few minutes.

I think you can wrap a piece of starter rope or similar over the roller, and on to the end of the spring, and then tie to a lever bar.  Use the roller as a pulley.
