Another vibrating mower

I had a guy call  :o me to say his mower is vibrating badly and making an awful noise. I told him to stop using it and bring it down to me; he said he wanted to finish the lawn  :hmm:

The photo shows the culprit  :o

Yep, that took a hit.  I would still check the crank and make sure it's not bent. The bolt does look bent though.

The blade bushing did its job and absorbed the force after the bolt had worked loose. I say that because the client had the blade sharpened a month ago; I don't think a thread lock was added when attaching the blade. It worked loose, snapped the bushing and bent accordingly. I checked the crankshaft and it's okay. He was lucky though.
