Masport Olympic 400 reel replacement

Hi all,
New to the forum.
Looking for some advice please.
I got given a masport Olympic 400 by my father in law, he had managed to break one of the blades from the cylinder (then threw it away  ::) )
It's been sat in my shed for about 8 years and I thought I'd better have a go at fixing it.
Spoken to a few dealers and have quotes between £330-£395 for a replacement reel.
Does anybody know if a reel from a less exotic mower would fit, I don't mind a bit of fettling if need be, but 300 quid seems a little steep.
Thanks in advance,
Paul.

Hi Paul and welcome to TGMF.

Not seen one of those Masport cylinder mowers myself. So I'm afraid I won't be much help to you on this one.  There is a whole one for sale on ebay for around the same price of that cylinder. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284359353252?hash=item42352363a4:g:OGEAAOSwXHFg4fN8
