EU rule means you will need insurance for ride-on lawnmowers and tractors.

Ride-on lawnmowers, golf carts and tractors will be required to have motor insurance as a result of an EU rule taking effect in the UK after Brexit despite being described as "insane" by Boris Johnson.  Full article here

We have always had road insurance on our mowers, if you use them in a public place they have to be insured, we do it on the chassis numbers. part of the cost of work.

twofish101 Welcome to TGMF.

Taking them on the public highway I can completely understand, but what the ruling was saying was you'd have to have insurance to drive your own ride-on mower ect on your own private property.
